I don't know about the World, but I heard
that 96% of the people In the US believe
there Is a God.

Abrahamic faith comprises just over half of the world's population. That's about 33% Christian, 22% Islam, and less than 1% Jewish. Only about 15% of the world is non-religious. That leaves about 15% Hindu, and about 20% divided among traditional Chinese religion, African/Diasporic tradition, and Buddhism.

Which "god"? Even among American Christians there are some 1500 different versions of "Christianity"!
Worldwide, about 16% of people define themselves as 'atheist' or 'agnostic', which means that 84% believe in one or more "gods", but if you mean "God" as in the Jewish or Christian god, about 7 out of 10 people in the world do NOT believe in "Him"!

I've read a few times that less than 30% of the earth's population is religious at all. Can't give you a definitive source as I don't recall where I read/saw it the first time, but it does make sense if you think about it.
