I have a major problem. I am supposed to audition for the top choir at my school on monday, but I woke up Tuesday to find out my voice was shot. My voice is so crackly, I can't get loud, and I can't hit the high notes neccessary for my audition. My throat is sore as well. Is there any things I can do to help speed up the healing process.

I've been drinking hot lemonade and hot green tea because my chorus director recommends them to all students who want to save up their voice for a big performance. I know you're not supposed to talk so I've been trying not too, but everyday, I have to sing for at least 40 minutes so that's hard to do.

PLEASE HELP! THIS IS MAJORLY IMPORTANT!!!

hot tea with honey and lemon. Original ricola drops. Just drink lots of juice, tea, and water and voice should be normal in no time.

i became working in retail sales around Christmas time and the boss did no longer desire to take heed to I had a cold. So while my voice all started going I sucked on a plastic lemon (with lemon juice interior) in between shoppers. Helped me get in the time of the nighttime.
