recommendations to lighten my dark hair?

i have thick black virgin hair n i wanna die it 2 get a medium brown color...in order to achieve this, wat hair color die shuld i buy???

i dont want it too light either... thanx!

I love L'Oreal HiColor. It has shades of blonde, brunette, and red. The dye is made specifically for dark hair becasue it's high lift. Every other color I've tried won't do much for really dark hair. They'll hust give highlights to your hair.
