Possible water in his ears. If he keeps doing this, take him to a vet, you don't want an ear infection.

His ears are bothering him, get someone to hold him for you and gently clean his ears with a mixture of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 4 parts rubbing alcohol. Then make sure you dry them really well afterwards.

Check his ears, perhaps he has water in them. Use a cotton ball and try gently drying his ears on the inside. He could also have an ear infection. If there is an odor coming from his ears, you may want to have your vet check him. He may need antibiotics. However, from your post, it sounds like it may simply be water in his ears.

The soap is bothering him. put him back in the tub and give him a soaking with just water. It will make him feel better. If he keeps itching go to pet smart and get somthing for itchy skin.

My guess would be itchy skin from either a soap that was too drying or an incomplete rinse. - or - Could the little one have a small scratch on it's head that the shampoo dried out?

he might have an ear infection. I would take him to the vet and have them check it out. If you look at his ears are they red/bright pink, if so they are probably infected. Also if they give off a bad smell.

he may have water in his ears. next time place a cotton ball in the ear to prevent this. in the mean time you can pick up ear cleaner at pet stores and try to alleviate the problem.

this could be a couple of things. one is he is reasserting his scent. after a bath he can only smell the shampoo you used so he doesn't pick up his own scent. my dogs do this after a bath to dry them selves. just make sure your dog isn't allergic to the shampoo.

He has water in his ears. You will have to be very careful not to get water in them. I hope he doesn't get an ear infection.
