I love the Lord and I am doing the best I can. But I am discouraged because there are people I love and adore going through a rough time and I am activelly seeking employment and it is taking some time. The adjustments I am going through are not always easy being I moved 2500 miles from home.

God is in control and I know that but I feel badly about some of the circumstances I listed above.

Will I look back years later and see that this was all a part of Gods plan to help me?

I feel sad that I cant fix or resolve things. How have you gotten through discouraging times and what has God taught you?

Thank you for your answers and Peace be with you.

I know I have had problems in life and have given it to God. Sometimes things don't seem fair but we should give it all to God's timing. When we give it to our timing then that's when things go wrong.

Do not feel bad about some of the circumstances you mentioned. When things go on long term it can be hard. God is your strength, never forget that- Read the Psalms- David even got discouraged and He was a man after God's own heart.
My hubby and I have struggled with chronic illnesses for years, and he is permanently disabled and our finances are not good- however just today which is yrs, after the problems started we have some really good news- in the midst of the pain, God shows His care and love and provision. Yes, you will see that this ws God's plan for you. I am learning to boast in my weakness which can be hard-

Proverbs 3:5- Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

Do NOT listen to the advice of people on here about Christianity. They know little or nothing about it and do not understand Christians, so they bash them. I am a long-time Christian and would love to have an email buddy to encourage and share with!! Please, email me. I am a strong Christian and love the Lord greatly. He has helped me through many tough times, and I would love to share with you.

All the people who've posted here so far are actually Christians, it would appear........I am glad. Yes, listen to them--what I meant earlier was that some people will post crap about God not really being there and such....those are the one you don't want to listen to.

Recognize that Satan brings discouragement to try to steal your courage and zeal for the Lord....

I have realized that discouragement is one of Satan's tools against those who have a close and active love for Christ. Why ? Because hates you and you are the target of Satan's envy....when you have fellowship with the Father.......He no longer has that fellowship, thus he hates and envies those who do.

God bless...you will prevail...don't give up ....God is with you!

You're doing the best you can...and if your gut tells you not to do it - don't do it! God helps those who help themselves! =)
