I'm a fitness instructor. Get one of those huge rubber balls, they sell them at Target for about 20$. Inflate it at the gas station. Bring it home, put on some jammin' music. Sit on it, and let it roll to your back. Make a table with your body, keeping your feet flat on the floor. Look straight ahead, and pull up. keep your hands on your shoulders, not behind your neck, or you'll hurt your neck. don't look up, look straight ahead. don't sit up all the way, you'll feel the burn right where you need it across the lower stomach, the place I call the kangaroo pouch. Try to do as many as you can for one song. Then tomorrow, do two songs, and then three the next day...then rest a day, then two, then three, and then rest a day. Eat healthy food, don't smoke! You'll see results right away! good luck!

If you're doing the sit ups regularly, the culprit may be your diet. What are you eating? Sweets? Cheese? Fast Foods? Sodas? Chips? Your diet is half the battle, it's not possible to "spot reduce" in any certain area. Are you active? If you walk, run, or are in a activity the fat will be burned off your stomach and the muscles will be more visible then. Hope this makes sense for you.....

Well, it also depends on what you are eating and how much water you drink and how many calories you consume daily. You could do 6000 sit ups a day and unless you change your eating habbits, you won't see any improvements whatsoever.

there are two very good ways.
1. cross your arms and go all the way up to your knees.
2. cross your arms and just go up a little.
P.s if you want to strengthen your neck..put your arms on the back of your neck.
