it does make your mucous thicker... which causes you to cough more... but its not necessarily bad for you...
some say its also bad to drink when you have a fever because it can curdle in your stomach....

Milk and other dairy products will make the mucus a bit thicker. Probably not that noticable though, if you want to drink milk go ahead, it still has a lot of nutrients you need when you're sick.

I know for a fact that any product with milk in it makes your body produce more phelgm. So, I would not consume those products when you are having a cold or sinus infection. I find that even when I am not sick, I tend to get the same problem with milk products.

Yes it is, at least in my experience. Drinking warm water on the other hand is soothing and helps dissolve mucus. It'll still be there or come back until the cold is gone but it won't be as noticeable, making your cold a less hassling experience.

It does. I don't know how, but it does. It's not a good idea to drink milk when you are naseous, vomiting, or have a sinus cold.

Ive heard when your sick you should drink warm milk.But for me,i get really bad heart burn and i know milk is good for that,but when your sick i was told to drink warm milk.So you should try it and see what happens.
