Because I have wept many nights, yet joy came in the morning. I went from making 22.50 an hour to 6.50 an hour, then I lost my home, found out my boyfriend was married and we got into a fist fight, instead of killing him and going to hell, I decided to ask God what does He want me to do. God picked me up opened my eyes and I am now following Him to this very day.
Thanks to His lead, I now have a good job, a roof over my head, I'm about to start real-estate school and even though I'm single, I'm happy. I'm fully pursuaded that life on THIS side is a heck of a lot better than life without God.
All Christians are dealt blows, rejoice when you are dealt them. It means the enemy is trying to get you off track and to give up. Only worry when you're not having to fight the enemy because he won't fight who he's already defeated.
Fight on and stay with it!! Peace and Blessings :)

Its the nature of the universe, dear. Some places on this earth are fertile and thrive easily; other places are rocky and not so pleasant. However, you can find life and beauty no matter where you look -- even the high altitudes and treacherous mountains have flora and animals that grow especially in those places.
Another example is the weather. Florida has been hit with hurricane after hurricane and tornado after tornado ... but it also contains some of the most beautiful landscape and interesting culture in the country.
We're all subject to the forces of the universe. The hand we're dealt isn't always easy. But it doesn't mean that we shrivel up and die. I wish you the best of luck and hope that things get easier for you.

If by "Faith", you mean belief in one particular imaginary being or another, it's something you can function perfectly well without. Christian "faith" particularly teaches that you should put up with the crap you happen to be dealt because God is "testing" you, which is pure nonsense.
You should, however, accept that life sometimes is not "fair", but that's no reason to give up on anything. Adversity is generally good for building the ability to see the glass as "half-full" as long as you aren't prone to feeling sorry for yourself.
If you are having a tough time, it often helps to "suck it up" and go help some folks who are having a worse time; it helps them, it helps you feel a little luckier, it helps channel your "negative energy" into something productive, and on the outside chance that there really is an imaginary being watching, it has to worth a few "Brownie Points"!
This is all you get, you gotta have a good time!
Best wishes!

Life is beautiful but painfully hard at times. None of us know why this is, and why we have to go through what we do. Obviously, most of us don't deserve some of the blows we receive.
My heart of hearts tells me that these experiences are molding us, purifying us for a greater good.
This life is but a "parenthesis in eternity". Try to stay " lightened up" during these hard times. some of the greatest people who ever lived, endured terrible hardships throughout their lives but still managed to do great things.
Remember, it's not what happens to us that is so bad but how we handle the blows that come our way. usually these blows teach us something about ourselves.
Hang In There. Be happy In Spite of the bad things. Your luck will turn. Its the way of life.

I can speak to you from experience… I am one who has always believed in God and have always prayed. Anything that I have asked of God in Jesus’ name it has been granted. However, over the last four to five years, I have been having a problem. I have lost weight and was near a nervous break down from heart ache and trials. I asked God to show me how and let me know why this was happening to me. I was to the point that I was like Jeremiah and I said to myself (and I know God could here me) that I will never spread another word about God and what He could and will do. But Like I said I was just like Jeremiah. The Holy Spirit is a part of me and there was no way that I could turn my back on God. I was mad for a minute but I just couldn’t keep something so miraculous to myself. After awhile, I realized that the things that God didn’t grant me were things that I really did not want. I looked back on those times and shouted, “Thank You God, Thank You Jesus”. You knew what I needed and wanted better than I did.
Today, I am on my wait out of the fire and what I believe will be my last “valley experience”. I am sure that you have heard of the saying, I have been through the fire…
Well I have been through the fire God is just about done molding me through trial and tribulations. I know that they have come to make me stronger and though I may be hurting a bit or down inside today, I thank God for what I know He is going to bring me tomorrow. I thank Him for my trials, my tribulations, and for ultimately preparing and molding me to His likeness. In the name of Jesus, Thank You. God is good.
God Bless you and keep praying. God is using you!
P.S. I don’t have an avatar but I am a female too.

come join us as a newly converted atheist.
Atheist's can be tough nut's at time's,...... but we're not like that without reason..... To deliberately mislead people, here there, and all over the place,...... on text's and scripture's that are contradictory and full of hole's, is arrogant, unethical, and completely unprincipled.
Over recent generation's,..... no one would question the trinity, because the church had used a burning pit to frighten everyone into submission.
But in these very new and very modern time's,... people are much more questioning, much more sophisticated, and a lot higher educated than recent and past generation's.
As many of us ( former church goer's and believer's ) have found,..... if you carefully and thoroughly re-study the bible again, the manifest number of implausability's, contradiction's, inconsistentcy's, and irrationality's, it contain's,..... simply transcend's the boundry's of comprehension.
And so therefore,..... to ask and expect, that people should trust and follow such a simplistic and superficial doctrine, is both unethical and irresponsible.
Do what myself, and other's have done,..... join the rank's of atheist's....... All you need to do, is move from there,.... over to here...... As long as your'e a nice person, who care's about yourself and your fellow brother's and sister's,... those are the only value's you'll need to bring with you.
As for the rest of your life's activity's,...... your free to live it as you choose.
Come join your fellow atheist's.
Your Welcome...... anytime....

Have you read the book of RUth
some would say the main character is Ruths mother in law... she lost her home, her husband and her two sons and was dealt many blows and called herself the bitter one...
but all the hammering God was doing turned out to make her into something for His glory and her good and she finally realized it in the end
and I hope you do someday as well

been there done that, I lost my mother, brother, two sisters, brother-in-law, and my 21 year old daughter within a 5 year period. and that was just the beginning.
the good news is that it does get better.
when it seem like it can not get any worse, when it seems like you cannot go on, that is the time that God should be the most important.
get alone by your self, let you self break and talk to the lord, it is when we seem to the breaking point that the spirit of God descends and the comforter comes.
i will be praying for you.

Please try and remember there is always someone in a worse place than you.Count all the things you are thankful for and build from there.Talking to someone might help. There are help lines where someone will listen to your troubles.Just remember that YOU are a special person and everyone needs help sometimes.Good Luck!

When they told me I was going to die from kidney failure I though my life was crap. Then I went to a hospital for critically ill children. Not one of them toll me that their life was crap. They told me how good their life was and how much every one loved them. They told me how good god had been to them, not how he had let them down. After that day I have never though that my life was anything but wonderful! I thank God every day for all he has given me and ask only that I may have the strength that those kids had.
