Well, third-world countries normally do have a higher level of poverty than other countries. Speaking of African Countries specifically, I believe that lack of positive leadership has created this problem.

Many of the countries of Africa are run by militant groups that are more concerned about their wealth than the economic well-being of the African people. What's sad is, while the leaders are purchasing million dollar warfare and vehicle fleets for protection, they are spending little to nothing on health care, public assistance and AID's awareness.

I have heard in discussion, that in some HIV/AID's ravished African Countries, one in three Africans are infected with the virus. All of this comes down to proper education about the disease. Unfortunately, that too is something that falls by the wayside.

In order to create change, nothing short of a revolution is acceptable.

Faulty leadership needs to be overthrown and new leaders with the goal of African empowerment should be appointed. Aid dollars will have to come from neighboring countries to help the starving and disease afflicted. Education is key and should be available to everyone regardless of age.

However, I believe that what I have just mentioned is impossible. There will never be economical stability in Africa.

rampant government corruption in most countries is the cause of most of it. No stable infrastructure to support the citizenry. There are exceptions, of course, such as South Africa, Egypt, and others.
