That depends. Is he your boyfriend? If he is an honest person, and likes you, he will probably tell you. If you feel suspiciouis, go in and dig out the information. I think they should tell you and hopefully no one's feelings get hurt, my ex is still my bestfriend but I use to hate the girl he went out with him I had to not talk to him for a while
