I met someone over the internet and we have been talking for close to 3 months. She refuse to give me a picture and everytime we set up a date to meet she always flakes on me. When I asked her about she got mad. Don't you think she at least give me a picture?

Actually me and her do talk on the phone. Since I asked for the picture she no longer wants to talk to me.

sorry to say m8, but your she may be a he playing games with you, and that is why you have not seen a picture yet, and why any dates to meet are cancelled.
If people are genuine then you will naturally share a picture normally. though even this is no guarantee of who you are talking to. because as we all know you can get a picture of anyone from any source and upload that to a profile or email it to someone.
likewise for video confirmation, if you get a video email it may not be what or who it claims to be.
video chat can also be fooled, unless you refer to someone by name in the video footage be very suspicious of that video. software exists to spoof a web cam, by almost any means, a feed from a TV tuner, a video file on your local computer or from elsewhere on the internet or your LAN.
It is sad that one person said online dating never works. it can work to get to meet someone face to face. the hard part is converting what you said and did online into reality. then as with all relationships it takes hard work to keep the relationship going strong.
I speak from bitter experiance, when i met a woman online, and failed to live up to all the promises offline that i had made online. so that relationship only last a couple of months.
and we shared pictures before hand.
only talking three months online, about long enough to be talking on the phone. as for sharing pictures, if she does not feel comfortable yet that is her right as a woman (if indeed it is a woman and not as i said a guy playing games).
if she refuses to talk online even with a skye account or other VOIP service, then i would say ppull her up on why she is playing the games and not meeting you half way by speaking on the phone. May be she has had a bad experiance in the past and just wants to play it safe and take it very slowly with you. if this is the case then do not push her on it.

are you ready to face the fact that she could be a he or a trans sexual? as a straight male this would be hard to face if you have been tricked by a guy pretending to be a she.
to sum up, no nobody online SHOULD give you a picture of themselves after any length of time.
as for the constantly calling off dates, that should be an indication that something is seriously wrong. and this could be your worst nightmare (a guy pretending to be a girl who you are falling in love with based on conversation and not looks).
just some of my thoughts and experiances, i hope you get this resolved quickly. and remember online not everyone is open and honest, a lot of liers on the web, you just have to get good at shoveling the bull $*!t to get to the truth.

the only reason i see her not wanting to show u a picture is because she might be feeling insecure about her looks or maybe her appearence doesnt match to what she has told u. she also might be scared that you might be put off her because of her looks but if u really do like her then appearence shoudnt matter to u. if she dont want to send her pic then ask her to show it on display when you chat to her on msn or yahoo. if she stil refuses then it can only be because shes insecure. i met my boyfriend online and to be honest it is hard to trust someone over the net if u think of the matter realisticaly. i mean how many people can u trust in the real world? so i dont blame her. i say take her number, call her and tel her how u feel and also that apearence doesnt matter to u (only say that if it really doesnt matter...lol) good luck, hope it all works out.

ill be honest she has painted a picture of herself to you which probably aint true i can see that what started as a bit of fun grew into an elaborate game which you both enjoyed .so lets face it --some people like games but when the game gets a bit too much, like the real thing it goes wrong chances are she just wants to keep it the way it is without the pressure.maybe she isnt that fantastic (like most of the population)and wants to keep the image she has built up of herself with you-- if she gives you a picture it may end, she doesnt feel confident enough that you will want to continue your relationship.If you want to keep her enjoy the relationship for what it is if she doesnt want you to see her she is not ready.oh dont i go on sometimes and get carried away ill bet your saying i wish she woul shoosh.good luck huny xx

dude, it depends. if you just want to be friends with these people. then pics are not important, it doesn't really matter what they look like. but if you are trying to find a girl on internet. better make it face to face, mate! pictures cannot be trusted.

maybe shes worried that ur are not who u say u are? there also a possibility that she is not who she says she is either. she could be a 'he'. be careful meeting up via internet. why not set up a new email addy and u could talk to her via yahoo messenerg or msn and get to know each other better?!?!

well she should have given you a picture by now...it is true what people say about meeting on the net..they are not who they say they are....also she keeps flaking when you plan to meet....ok...she's a phoney...now it's up to you to persue it, if she does not send you a pic, then i suggest you forget her because i think your being lied to

well, shes probably younger than she says she is so she wont give u a pic. my friend gets on the chat room thinks with older guys and lies about her age.
