I'm looking for a ball with a low trajectory because my new driver launches the ball awfully high. I have heard the Nike One ball has a low trajectory. Any other suggestions?

The Titleist DT SoLo and NXT are not low spin golf balls. They are high spin balls designed for golfers with low to mid-range swing speeds. The Titleist Pro-V1x, TaylorMade TP Red, Callaway HX 56 and HX Tour, Maxfli Fire Tour, Nike One and Bridgestone 330 (kind of) are all true low spin (off the driver) golfballs, they also all have some type of polyurethane cover. Anything with a polyelectrolyte ionomer surlyn cover is usually not a low spin golfball (like the DT SoLo).
Stiffer shafts do not = lower launch. All shafts have what is known as a launch profile, which is basically an indication of the flex point or points in the shaft. In addition to the stiffness of the shaft tip, launch profiles completely control your ballflight. A shaft with a kickpoint near the head of the club will launch the ball much higher than a shaft with a kickpoint near the grip end of the club. You should be much more concerned with wether the shaft in your driver is optimal for your swing than if you are playing with a low spin golfball. Try working with your driver before changing up balls.
A new ball wont stop ballooning drives.
Because it is a new driver (wished you would state which one and what loft and shaft) you should work with it a bit before changing ball.
Here are a few things that you can do:
1. Lower your tee height.
2. Experiment with moving the ball back in your stance.
3. The stiffer the shaft, the more boring your tee shot.
4. Press your hands a bit forward at set up.

I would re-shaft your driver with a stiffer shaft. A low trajectory ball will have a low trajectory off all your clubs. I don't think that's what you want or need.

It is not the ball it would be your shaft. Try getting a different shaft. Your local golf shop could help get you on your way to a lower ball flight.

Prov 1x has a low spin rate. Nxt Tour is another. Both are made by Titelist. The lower the spin rate the lower the ball flight.

Get a different shaft with a higher kick point like the Aldila NV.

ya, the nike one has low tragectory, also the titlest DTsolo. there are not as many low tragectory golf balls out there as high tragectory ball
