Muhammad lead twenty-six separate battles of war. Thats a major military resume by anyones standards.

During a lifetime of warfare, he made-up, one by one, the verses (ayas) of the Quran. So it should be no suprise, that when you forst read the Quran, you find justification for violence, terror, and war, packed within the entire book.

To believe in Islam is to believe that Allah had lots and lots to say about war and murder, because in the Quran, Allah talks us to death on the subject (figuratively and literally).

Left-wing apologists assume that any criticism of Islam comes from southern-fundies, and feebly assualt the criticism of the war-religion based on this assumption. However, I am agnostic, and all of the agnostics and atheists I know concede the fact that Islam is the worlds most violent religion.

The greatest genocides in human history (no exagerration at all) can be directly attributed to Islamic idealogy...why do we act suprised today about Islamic violence?

The most violent religion in what sense? and in comparison to what?
The mostly violent religion "currently"? Perhaps, that might be true, but that does not mean that it "is" the most violent religion.
What genocides are you referring to? I would be very interested to know about them. There have been many murders committed in the name of Islam, but to say that the "greatest genocides" in human history are attributed to Moslems is a very strong statement.
I personally believe that in comparison to other faiths at the time and the way different religions were treated, the Moslem world was in pretty good shape for most of its history. By modern standards the way non-Moslems were treated in the Moslem world is of course not acceptable, but by the standards of the time, it was way better than say non-Christians were treated in Europe and definately better than Moslems were treated in Europe.
As an agnostic, we should focus our attention and criticisms on faith itself, on the underlining logic of religion and the nature of this so called deity. I do not believe that singling out Islam for criticism achieves any purpose whatsoever. I do acknowledge that Islam has a lot to answer for, but open and continous assaults on Islam are counterproductive and should only be reserved for religious nuts, whether Christian, Jewish, or otherwise. They can sit there and talk about how their religion is better than Islam and all that nonsense.
I am sure you undestand the point i am trying to make.
It is sad that Islam is going through a violent and turbulent stage, but so did Christianity. At the end of the day, they are all the same, they preach the same message and talk about the same things, give or take a little. That is the agnostic ideology and that is what we should talk about.
What do you think?

I donot agree that any religion teaches us violence including Islamic religion. There are/is some some very good factors in Islamic religion. For example, God has no shape while other religions donot provide such fundamental fact.In Hindu religion there is also such fact but very few follows them. When some one took birth on earth and he/she has to follow the same type of culture lying on the earth and it may possible that Muhammed lead 26 separate battels of war and it has the tradition of that period and Muhammed acted on it. To write such word about any religion that particular is most violent religion does not seem proper to point out in the present century. On the otherhand, all the religions have created by warlord be called" war religions" is not true. For such true or false statement, visit Himalaya mountains on foot, you may be able to know about fact or false about your question.
