I take my newspapers, and some magazines, to my local Blue Cross Hospital.
Animal charities and vets often need papers, blankets and towels.
Magazines can go to the above plus Doctors surgeries, etc.
Just check with them first.

Hi. Do you mean the blue recycle bin. If so the answer is yes. But not shredded paper. If this is the bin that you are talking about let me know because I can give you a list of what can be put in it. Julieanne

If you use Horry Cty landfills, the newspaper, magazines, shredded paper & regular paper all go into one container.
The cardboard has a separate container.
The plastic, steel, tin & aluminum cans and bottles go into the same container. Includes laundry bottles and all types of soft drinks. Also all colors of glass. Also plastic milk cartons.
If you mean the small containers outside business' that indicate newspapers - I think that is all they take there.

hi. you can put your paper and magazines in a seperate tub with your regular recycling, garbage pick up day, or you can put it in the recycle bin provided to you from your recycling company. we do it all the time, and they pick it up. or you can take your magazines that you have read to your local dr.'s office/hospital waiting room, they always appreciate them. hope this helps. have a great day.

Depends where you live. In Fairfax county - answer is yes, with curbside pickup. Disposal companies are required to take it - check the county website.
