Tell them to stop. Nobody has the right to abuse or bully you. Be respectful and calm, simply let them know that you won't tollerate it any longer. Sometimes if you simply ignore them all together they will become bored and eventually stop. However, if it doesn't, you can actually go to a counselor, teacher, or another adult at your school and let them know you have been being harassed. They will help, I promise you. Just don't be afraid to stick up for yourself, no matter the cost.

good luck dude

Man, It has been along time since fifth grade but I know how you feel. Really I do, I was once in your shoes. I know its tough, I know your scared and you use excuses not to get on the bus. The Bible tells us that if you place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ that he can make even our enemies be at peace with us.

Son you need to talk your parents or teachers about this. Someone close to you needs to know whats going on. This will all pass one day trust me. This is the only advice I can give you. Be of strong courage and place your faith in Jesus Christ. Everything will work out, but for now let those that love and care for you know what is going on.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and pray for a hedge of protection for you..

You need to start standing up to yourself! If you let other kids keep bullying you like that, you'll REALLY get teased more. I was in the same position as you when I was your age; but at least I told the other off. If you don't have the courage to talk back in their face, practice in front of the mirror, or do a little senario with your family: your dad as the bully, you as yourself, for example. But trust me, sweetheart, if this bullying does'nt subside; have an older brother/sister/friend wait with you. But for now, stay strong and don't let those stupid kids get to you. You can do it! Good luck, sweetheart!

Unfortunatly getting picked on continues through your elementary years. Tell the bus driver that you are being harrased and expect action taken. Or you could Hire a teenager to stand with you a couple a days. just Kidding....You need to find out the kids names and tell your principle. You don't deserve to be picked on.

Tell the bus driver for starters. Also report the kids once you get to school. Harrassment is called assault and the bus stop is considered school property. If the school can't keep you safe, call the police and report everything.

Try and ignore them, but if they dont leave you alone tell a teacher or parent. Or of course tell them off cause theyre only picking on you since they arent confidet in themselves so they try to show they are all tough by hurting other ppl. Stay tough and dont let them get to you, if they tease you, then burn them back. If they physically hurt you then sucker punch them next time it happens and if you get called to the office or something say it was in self defense, but you should probably tell someone like now.

Can you leave early & walk to school, or catch a ride with a brother, sister, Mom, Dad, friend, friend's parent?

Figure out why they pick on you--are they jealous because you are smarter?

If they get physical, ask your parents if you can take some classes in self-defense.
Hang in there, little dude...guys like you always have the last laugh----think Bill Gates!!!

Talk to someone, it can always help. Otherwise ignore them. Unless you are giving them reason to pick on you they are just trying to get a rise from you. You will do better in life to learn that they are truly the weak and by ignoring them you are the strong. Fighting will only cause more problems.

Oooo!
So what?
When I was in elementery school (I'm 21 now) I had curly hair for which I was mercilessly teased about. Not only was I teased (being called names like ******, gay boy and such) I was beaten up.
My fourth grade year was the last straw. Once they started to pull my hair and kick me, I unleashed hell upon them. Broken noses, cracked ribs, and black eyes were what was left of them when I was through.

Moral: Words cant hurt you unless you let them. Fists are another matter.

hey kid, take it from me...you have a few options pick the best one...

1) avoid the bus stop, but that will caus those kids to figure out you have an issue with their picking on you and might make them take it to another level

2) you can pick on them back...dont make it so mean hearted cause it could cause things to escalate, but if you take it with a sense of humour, you can turn it around on them...laugh at what they say, then find something to pick on back at them.

3) this is what i woud have wantd to do when i was younger and got picked on, and from other peoples situations i have learned that this option is a good one....i might sound crazy to say this, but whether your big and strong or not...when someone picks on you, think of what this harassment is doing to your inner self, its gonna give you complexes and make you feel about 2 feet tall, not just infront of them, but to everyone, cause you dont want to get picked by anyone so you almst hide from people in your everyday life to avoid any kind of emotional distress...

so what you do, when someone picks on you, is walk right up to them, in a threatening manner, tell them to stop it, if they dont kick their butt...just hit them as hard as you can...it might sounds like a crazy stunt, but no one likes to get hit, even if the person hitting them is smaller...if you get a rep for getting aggresive when picked on, you will find that people dont want to pick on you cause your gonna fight them...your confidence will get much better, but you may have to stand your ground a few times in the process...better to be a champ with a bloody lip than a chump with no self-esteem
