How long after eating should you wait to exercise your dog?

Hi there I am a Veterinarian Tech. You should wait atleast 1 full hour after you feed your Boxer before exercise. Otherwise, your girl could get bloat, which is a devastating and usually fatal condition. Hope this helps! Enjoy your pup!

I have never bought into the whole elevated feeder idea and my breed is prone to bloat. (Dobe) Anyway, I use the rule of thumb for exercise as 2 hours before a meal, and 2 hours after a meal. I do not think a normal walk, itself, would be an issue when it comes to bloat.

dogs are usually ready to exercise and romp any time they get the opportunity. if you mean how long to wait to take them out to do their "doddy" it usually doesn't take long. with small puppies the sooner the better. with older dogs that are already house trained they can pretty much hold it and "preform" when the opportunity presents itself.

you should wait no less then an hour.if you take her on a walk any sooner then that she might get a big stomach ache or she might even throw up but it really depends on how much she ate but i dought that she will throw up.

you shouldn't wait, you can walk it right away, you have to take a slight exercise after eating to digest your food
