Yes cause it allows a person 2 agree 2 disagree. Every one has a right to their beliefs r opinion. It we r not allowed that -than we/u r denied your right 2 your own thought. Everyone will not all have the same thoughts --if we all disagreed we all die. On the other hand- There would b no one left 2 disagree with.

No. But I would fight to the death for Free speech. They can disagree on their own time. No one OWES them a platform (a lot of people seem to think Yahoo! Answers owes them to let them say whatever they feel like. THAT is NOT a RIGHT!)

But I sure hope they do. When we become a country where people can't disagree, like dozens of other countries around the world who are just learning about free speech, like Islam which is having a revolution due to their suppression of free speech, we will no longer be able to be called a country of freedom.

Thank goodness we can have so many people, even those who scream how corrupt our government is and seem to forget that its the same government who doesn't even begin to bother them for it.

Yes, when I joined the US Army that was but one of the questions I had to face. I also had to decide that if I was ordered to kill a man in battle that I could do it.

The freedoms of the First Amendment are plain to see and cannot be curtailed just because I don't like what the other guys are saying.

Personally I think that Creationism is a load of c_ _ p, but I have to give those that believe in it the ability to talk about it, and as a soldier I swore and oath; to defend the United States and to obey the laws of the US and the orders of the superiors above me. Among those laws are those in the US Constitution.

Luckily, for me I was never tested to perform my promise, my oath, but I had to be expected to perform and honor that oath. This is the responsibility of all of our military.

I have done my time and I have put my life in a position where I might have been called upon to die in service to my country, how about you? Some people reading this may have sacrificed more than I have, but most will not, how about you?

Literally, no. But on a larger scale (Constitutional rights) then yes. It's what the military does "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

H*ll no. I'll find a way to enjoy life no matter who is governing me.

I understand totalitarianism. I'm not so up to date on life after death. I doubt if any of these brave wingnuts are either.

I have and will fight for your rights, even if I don't necessarily agree with what your trying to accomplish at the time. All Americans should stand for the things that made this country what it is.

There are very few things for which I would fight to the death. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. Most Americans are self-serving sacks of sh*t who could care less about anything. I would fight to the death for the safety of my kids. That's about it...

Some group like NAMBLA? Hell, no - if one of those perverts was on fire, I'd grab a stick and some marshmallows.

I would like to say it depends on the person and the issue....but of course, until you're actually faced with that type of situation, it's impossible to say what you would or would not do.

I like to believe that I would. It is one of those questions that I cannot answer conclusively because I have never been put to the test.
