I have found that having a bad allergy attack is as bad as being really sick. You're never at your best when you're sick.

It maybe that the allergie symptoms are distacting you from concentration. The allergies itself is not making your stupid. It's just hard to pay attention when you have itching and runny nose all the time.

You may lack concentration now, and straight sharp thinking due to the allergy medication. Some medication just slow you down. I'd suggest to change your medication.

Meanwhile be careful not to screw up something big and important. LOL You may not have another chance to correct it.

If you are taking any over the counter drugs for allergies it could very well be affecting you in a weird way. Try another drug. (I sound like your friendly neighborhood pusher)

Yep, it can make you stupid. Your body is telling you to get extra sleep. Plan your evening better to get 8-9 hours of sleep and see if that doesn't help.
