I agree with the previous answer with the following: If you are only claiming yourself and you have no itemized deductions what is withdrawn from your paycheck is should be close to how much you owe when you do your taxes.

Depends on your income. Go to irs.gov and look at the w-4. There is a worksheet at the top of the w-4 and on the second page that will help you decide how many to claim. Hope that helps.
