Why do you think God placed Mexico right next door to the US when he knew illegal aliens would invade our land, steal social security numbers, disrespect laws, live off welfare, commit crimes, etc.?
Do you think it was to challenge us to get along with them?
I can't believe he did it to cause trouble. He knew this would happen.
There has to be a reason, right? God just doesn't do things just because he has nothing else to do. God doesn't need to `get a life` and he really did place Mexico right next to the US border.
So, why do you think he didn't place Mexico on Pluto?

I believe that we have free will. The choices of many people throughout history have placed us all where we are. It is also up to all of us how we proceed from here. Remember that God sees their hearts, actions, and attitudes as well as ours. He has expectations for all of us. Even God will turn away from people after a time if all they do is make demands and show no appreciation.

Now I do not necessarily agree with the statement that God put Mexico next to the US. I do not recall reading in the Bible that God drew any boundaries in the sand dividing the 2 countries. Now here is something that we should look into. which country was actually settle first? And I am wondering why people think and group all ethnics groups together in a bad way? That is called racism. Do you really think that God would put all the Mexican people on Pluto? Maybe you should re-read the Bible.

God actually placed the United States of America next to Mexico to help the Mexican people. He wanted the Mexican people to have a better life and to embrace the fundamental rights on which this grand nation was built: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The Mexican people only come for a better life. People in Mexico earn 10% of what a minimum wage job worker earns here while the prices of food in both countries are they same. Pretend you were born in Mexico, would you look at immigration the same way? I don't think so.

Every third world nation at one time in history was the greatest place on Earth. Whether it be the Africans, Egyptions, Romans, Myans, Chinese or the Russians. I think if there's a God he has given each and every place a chance of power to see what they do with it. So far.....they all failed.

I wrestle with this. He said it is better to give than to receive. There's also a ton of other examples from both ends. Do you ABUSE it or not? You can ABUSE poverty and "good will" just as much as you can abuse the rest. I guess the judgement goes from your heart......that's why I thank God daily that HE judges me, and not MAN at any given time.

The same reason God allowed the European folks to cross the ocean and spread their culture and disease - so that Native American & Native Californian (Mexicans) can learn to live with them - oh yeah and since the latter are now Christians - Pray for, forgive them and hope God spares the American's of European decendants - his wrath.

I really don't think 'God' had anything to do with the placement of land. That is if you believe in a God in the first place

That would have been cruel to the Mexicans.

However, as you note, he put Mexicans in Mexico. Why didn't he put them here?

Do you think that might have been a challenge to them to improve their country?

I'm being flippant, but it irritates me when people try to make God partisan in their political arguments.
