repair it. Honda are not bad on reliability wise. Altho not tough as Toyota, but when a civic has problem, once it is fixed, it is fixed for a good long time. However, it really depends on ur mileage. The only time you junk ur car is when the repair bill has overwhelm the value of the car itself. I am sure a 96 Civic still worth more than 2grands+, so fix it. If you buy another used car, problem might just come back, it will crack you up. Thats the cons of used vehicle. If you are considering a brand new, that would be a different story.

I've always been told not to sink more money into a car then what you paid for it. But then you should also consider if you do go with another vehichle and try to sell this one. Would it be cheaper to sell and be done or do you owe more then you could sell it for. Antway there is a lot to look at before making that decision. Make a list of pro's and cons.
