The foundation needs to set directly on the bedrock. In addition, you yourself should study the geology because it is a well known fact that Geologists know how to make the bedrock.

Man...it sounds like your building a house! lol...anyway, to have a great relationship with anyone starts with communication. Make sure you guys communicate. Its important! Poor communication is the main cause of breakups. Read up on how to communicate with your partner or take a class on it. Also, respect each other. Respect each others opinions and listen to one another. Don't scream or shout or walk out when you get mad. Just talk it out and don't let your pride get the best of you. So many relationships end because people are too proud to say that they were wrong or that they are sorry. Good luck with your relationship.

Be intentional and clear with her. Tell her that you want to intentionally date her so that you can both see what potential the relationship has.
Communicate with her regularly, but don't overwhelm her. Give her a reasonable amount of space so that she doesn't panic and run.
Be romantic. Surprise her with your thoughtfulness. Plan dates down to the small details. Send her flowers for no reason. Show her you think she's worth the effort.
And of course, always be a gentleman. Always open doors and treat her like a lady. Compliment what you think is beautiful about her. Tell her she is beautiful...all the time.
Show her that you respect her...take things very slow physically, unless she initiates. Don't pressure her. Don't use the word "love" loosely. My husband didn't tell me he loved me until he proposed marriage. Up until then, he was very careful to just say he "liked" me and "really really liked" me, haha. By the time he told me he loved me, the word was special and really packed a punch.
Good luck to you!

Yeah right. You just don't wanna say you're hard as a brick, and would like to start work upstairs, and make your way around back to stucco the leaky holes with white plaster

Civil - Structural engineer, huh?
Well one thing that will bond you together like a laminated beam is honesty. Let it solidify your hearts and souls as one fused unit. Two separate components welded together and joined without porosity or imperfection.
Oh, don't foget the permit...
