My boyfreinds mother and father were never "aloud" around in his last marriage two and a half years ago. I met him during his divorce of five years,and became invoved. I wanted to change the fact that the parents were welcome. I took the on a trip to San Deigo, Las Vegas, and the wine country. It was ok,besides having to babysit since they never traveled and wanted to go to the mall every day,to look not buy. The "Stevey" baby talk drove me crazy,from my boyfriends mom.(boyfreinds name Steve) I tried again and they came for this past Chirstmas, FOR A MONTH! She baby talked and catered to him like a weird emotional insest,and he allowed it. As she would say, "as long as Steveys Happy Thats all that matters" I flew the most I could to stay away,being a flight attendant,while there was renavation being done by Steve and his dad. One night I went to stay at my best friends hm, and she made the accusation,are you sure thats where shes staying?As of April they r suppose to come again! Help!

Why him? Honest. Why him? Chances are this guy isn't exactly all that great I mean he is catering right back to her. At the expense of your guy's relationship, is that fair? Have you talk to him about this or is this something your hiding behind his back, your feelings about it? Personally I'm scared for you because mom's boys have a tendency to act superior and arrogant because moms been building that ego wrong since they were small. Also you can't change someone thats just selfish. And the fact is your just going to end up beating your head against a wall for what? Him? If you want to be sure thou if he is an only child then you might be able to save this relationship by just talking with him about it. If he isn't and got some sisters that been treated the complete opposite way then you need to think about leaving this guy alone or another bro who hasn't had the treatment. That has a great tendency to turn a male to something much, much more preverse.... darn mom's boys....
