Legal immigrants, a lot. One of the two people who ccreated Google was an immigrant. Illegal immigrants as a class use more in services than they could pay in taxes even if all (rather than 51%) paid taxes.
And then there is that $62 Billion they sent out of our economy to other countries, last year.

well here is an article which u may find interesting with the tittle 'immigrants courted as good costumenrs' . apparently bussiness all over the USA think of them that way :
http://www.usatoday.com/money/companies/2006-05-10-immigrant-usat_x.htm
here is a litle part of it :
In a study for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Paral estimates that 231,000 undocumented immigrant households can afford to buy homes — a $44 billion economic boon if they had mortgages.
The University of Georgia's Selig Center for Economic Growth projects that Hispanics' spending power — personal income after taxes — will rise from $490 billion in 2000 to $1 trillion in 2010.
..... i also would like to mention than it is estimated ( this i heard on the tv ) than every familly of immigrants from Mexico which comes to the USA just to buy clothes at he borders towns spends around 11 000 dollars just in that .... there is also many that with documents and even wiht out them start bussiness rigth away ... the Hispanic market is one of the most faster growing in the USA if not the fastest ...
here some more info unfortunelly it doesn't have enough or it says how much it is but they are a huge profit :

Some legal immigrants bring money in with them to start businesses or atleast to cover their expenses while they are here. The problem in calculating these numbers now is the "global" deal. I know I have checked out various countries for retirement immigration. I have to go in with a certain amount and then yearly a certain amount so I wouldn't "drain" the economy. I would say illegal immigration drains any benefits of legal immigration.

They contribute an average of 43,500$ per year as of 2006 to our economy per person. The media does a good job though of focusing only on the poor ones though. Just remember....More people = more consumption = more production=more profits for businesses=more tax dollars for the government.

Two of my friends that immigrated here few years ago brought about $5 million each (mostly stolen money). They applied those funds to work here and now earn very high incomes. Many immigrants bring way more than them though. I am just not too lucky to meet them all, ha!/

Please clarify your question. I know you libs like to combine legals with illegals. Are you talking about legal immigrants who come here through the proper channels, or the illegal migrants criminals?
