I know that diarrhea is a symptom of the "stomach flu" but what about the actual flu? I've been sick for two days now with nausea, diarrhea, and body aches.....no fever, no vomiting,.....everything I've read as far as symptoms of the actual flu never states diarrhea as a symptom but I don't think I have the stomach flu because I'm not throwing up and I have the body aches. Any ideas would help. I don't want to go to the doctor unless absolutely necessary so that's why I'm asking.

Thanks,

NO, diarrhea is NOT a symptom of Influenza. Gastroenteritis (stomach "flu") is completely unrelated.
