What makes you want to wallop someone? I hate it when you wait to let someone through and they look at you as they pass but don't say Thank you. AARRGGHHH

People in front of me who don't go when the light's green, causing me to wait through another cycle of the red light.

Good question.

I just love all the courteous drivers like you on the road. You are so appreciated by the rest of us. Please don't change.

I hate it when I am tailgated. Granted, I have an old car and I'm old (in my 50's) so I don't often go faster than 55 on the interstate. My solution to being tailgated is to take my foot off the accelerator. Sorry, but I am not driving faster just to make some jerk happy. He can go around if he wants, but my old car cannot take much acceleration (it's 16 years old). I would rather get where I am going than worry about how popular I am. I get lots of yells of dissatisfaction from drivers who pass me. Naturally, I'd rather give them an earful and a mean look, and sometimes they do get the mean look from me.

In my opinion, someone not saying thank you is really no reason for going into road rage. A friend of my sister's once waved thank you to someone and then crashed into the car in front of her because she was looking into the rearview mirror. It's not the safest thing in the world. Another time, I waved thanks to a guy and he thought I was flipping him off and got really angry. So, I wave if it's convenient.

It used to take barely anything to trigger road rage for me, but after having my anger ruin one too many days, I have really made an effort to chill out and laugh it off. Don't sweat the small stuff.

That IS annoying, but it's even worse when the person you let in stops in front of you 'till they can get into the NEXT lane, causing YOU to miss a green light.....

Just about everything. You know those signs courtesy pays. Well maybe if they did. Cause most people drive like. You can fill in the blank.

Lots of things-I agree with you on the lack of courtesy thing! Also people who get in the wrong lane deliberately to avoid queuing in the right lane-then when the lights change they try to force their way back in to the correct lane-I leave 'em to wait their turn!!

You waited to let them thru. They did not come up and plead to let them thru, so you did it on your own accord.
If I throw the ball and the dog returns it, I give him a treat. If the dog just brings the ball to me when I didn't ask for it, he ain't getting no treat or pat on the head.
Suck it up. Always being curteous does not always mean you get rewarded for it.
