TAKE A DEEP BREATH BEFORE READING THIS
There was an atheist couple who had a child. The couple never told their daughter anything about the Lord. One night when the little girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the dad shot the Mom, right in front of the child. Then, the dad shot himself. The little girl watched it all. She then was sent to a foster home. The foster mother was a Christian and took the child to church. On the first day of Sunday School, the foster mother told the teacher that the girl had never heard of Jesus, and to have patience with her. The teacher held up a picture of Jesus and said, "Does anyone know who this is?" The little girl said, "I do, that's the man who was holding me the night my parents died."

Its from the song by John Michael Montgomery... its a beautiful song and story. In the song the little girl hides behind the couch/sofa.
Why do you need 100 answers? You have a contest with someone?
"The Little Girl" lyrics
"Her parents never took the young girl to church,
never spoke of his name,
never read her his word.
Two non-believers walking lost in this world,
took [their] baby with them,
what a sad little girl.
Her daddy drank all day and mommy did drugs,
never wanted to play,
or give kisses and hugs.
She'd watch the [TV] and sit there on the couch,
while her mom fell asleep,
and her daddy went out.
And the drinking and the fighting,
just got worse every night.
Behind [their] couch she'd be hiding,
oh what a sad little life.
And like it always does,
the bad just got worse, with every slap and every curse.
Until her daddy in a drunk rage one night,
used a gun on her mom, and then took his life.
And some people from the city,
took the girl far away.
To a new mom,
and a new dad,
kisses and hugs everyday.
Her first day of [Sunday] school,
the teacher walked in,
and a small little girl,
stared at a picture of him.
She said I know that man,
there on that cross.
I don't know his name,
but I know he got off.
Cause he was there in my old house,
he held me close to his side,
as [I] hid there behind our couch,
the night that my parents died."

There are many stories like this on the net and I believe are written to feed the need for some sort of proof that Jesus is out there some where and used to show that he is around in times of great strife and grief. These types of messages are usually followed by a request for a monetary donation to the mentioned child. You do the math!

No it had no effect on me.
To say that this is somehow evidence of Jesus or God is abserd! That child was tramatized by what she saw. A child doesn't have to be raised around Christian crap to see so called pictures of Jesus.
Pictures of Jesus now that is a real joke. Those pictures of Jesus have him looking like a white man with blue eyes! Are you insaine? Jesus was a first century Jew that lived in a very HOT part of the world! NO ONE in that area of the world is WHITE! Get real that couldn't have been Jesus this child saw!
Christians need to get over themselves! The historical Jesus wouldn't look at all like the pictures floating around that claim to be Jesus! In fact a picture of Jesus could be taken as a breaking the second commandment! Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
NOTE: OR ANY LIKENESS! A PICTURE IS A LIKENESS!!
As for this I need 100 answers WHY?
you do not provide any reason for why you need this 100 answers. Did you pull that number out of your butt?
Oh yes and I'm a Satanist!

It's not a true story, my dear. It is, in fact, the plot of a country song called "The Little Girl," by John Michael Montgomery. The song is very insulting--it says that non-Christians are not fit to raise their own children.
Well, you asked.

Thats really moving.
In some of the saddest wretched moments of my life, I've suddenly been wrapped with the invisible arm of the Holy Spirit's loving presence. (The love has been so good several times that I was glad I was hurt.)

Awesome, can you link the picture of Jesus, there are just so many different opinions and variations on what Jesus actually looked like, I 'm curious to see the one hand-picked by an eye-witness. But why was Jesus comforting a non-believer? She didn't accept him into her heart. In fact, she's never heard of him.

Honestly, I think it is just a story that someone wrote to try and advance Christianity. Regardless of whether or not it is true, it can give a person a sense of comfort, if they are willing to be comforted. I am a Christian Heretic. Blessings in the Light of Christ!

I think it's a wonderful story about Jesus being there for us and it's also a country song. I'm not sure if it's true but I know it could be.
May God Bless you.

So a white guy with light brown hair was holding her.
Jesus (pbuh) did not look the way that Christians have him pictured. He was not European he was Jewish and not European Jewish but more Arab. The bible even says he had hair of wool, so he could have even been more African.
The story did not mean anything because the picture is false
