Computerized technologies reduce the possibility of human errors that can claim lives. My sister-in-law just had brain surgery and I tremble when I think of what the outcome would have been had a doctor performed brain surgery on her without the aid of computerized instruments.

In imaging, it's self-evident. Computerized tomography revolutionized diagnostic imaging.
In other areas, we're still waiting for somebody to write some decent software, especially for electronic medical records, which would be a huge boon if it weren't so kludgy and overly expensive.

Technology
The use of tools, machines, materials, techniques, and sources of power to make work easier and more productive.
A computer named Blue Gene/L, deployed at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, can do 280.6 trillion calculations per second (teraflops) This is considered the worlds fastest computer. We have a hard time just understanding what a teraflop is let alone being able to calculate that fast.

because you can do alot more stuff than you oculd have back in the old days.Like for instance we have video games, and without graphics we wouldn't have pictures.Back then there wasn't really alot of pictures and not that much great graphics.Plus they didn't have the chips and software to make a game. Also we could look up sicknesses and see what could be cured for them.Back then, they maybe used some book ok records of sicknesses.Or they would have had to try and find ehrbs to heal.

This has GOT to be an "academic" question that you need "worded".
Surely you can figure this out for yourself if it's simply an answer you seek.
Nice ***, (whether it's yours or not) by the way.
