when we receive communion the priest holds up the Body of Christ and announces that "this is the Body of Christ". the person receiving communion answers with a word that communicates to the priest and everyone present, that he/she believes that this is their belief as well. the person answers AMEN. Immediately before receiving the Eucharist (communion) it is now customary to bow your head out of respect for Christ's presence. after receiving communion some people make the sign of the cross, and then return to the pew and usually kneel in silent prayer and reflection. hope this helps.

I say Amen and then I go and do the Hail Mary and I bless my family. Fun, eh?

The bread: bless the body
The wine: thank u for the blood or Jesus
Sing a song: "I know it was the blood for me, one day when i was lost He died upon the cross; i know it was the blood for me."

I'm biting you Jesus, biting you, feel it? huh? feel the bite? huh? now I'm going to drink your blood. Communion is such a morbid and screwed up tribute to ancient cannibalistic rites.
