In Uk to work, an Employer has to send a work permit to his potential employee, Employers has to apply in UK.

If there are no people who can do that work, or if employer cant find anyone locally then he / she can get the permit.

The maximum time limit on a Work permit is 2 years and can renewed for another 2 years only.
