Quit pushing her! Pooping is a scary thing! It sounds like you are so focused on it, her little butt has become anti-poopy. She is afraid to do it, because like you said, you are at your "freakin wits end!" If you relax and back off, she might do it sooner than you think. By the way, have you taken the diapers off and made her wear panties? Big girls wear panties. She wants to be a big girl. Let her pick out her own panties, and let her wear them during the day. If she poops in them, it's gonna be nasty, and not as "together" as in her diaper. Put the poop in the potty, and let her see you do it. But, don't SAY anything to her about it being gross or bad. Too negative. Say something like "Goodbye Poopie, have a nice swim!" Also watch for signs that she has to go and ask her if she would like to try. Leave it up to her. Don't pick her up and put her on the potty, just let her take the lead. Just relax!

If you actually see her doing the poop have you tried getting her to the potty and then putting what she has done in the potty and telling her that she has just done it there, it worked for a friend of mine. It made her think she had actually done it on the potty and not in her pants. Hope that helps.

I am a nanny and what I was told to do is spend the day in the bathroom. Yes I know it makes it a very long day but if you stick to it it will work. Basically the child stays on the potty all day long. I have seen it work many times.

I have my own daycare and I know from lots of pottytraining that once the pressure is off of the child it will happen. Ease up a little and let her get it on her own. Maybe she doesnt have the feeling of having to poop yet. It takes some time.
