i think a month would be good, but it might be too long for you so i would say 3weeks (at least) bc the ex seemed really sad, and mad about the whole thing.

my best friend waited 3 days before asking me out. it seemed insensitive at first, but then he told me he did because there were other guys that liked me, and he didn't want to lose his chance. that was a year ago- and we're still together and in love. if you dont have competition, give it at least a week. otherwise, maybe 2-3 days is okay. as for the other thing- we were kissing before we were even going out, because he started kissing me goodbye every day after school after he asked me out, but i didn't say yes for awhile. [complicated, i know] anyway- just try to take it a little slow with her since she just got out of a relationship. it depends how long they were together- if they were together for more than a couple months, be really careful and give her time. good luck!

wait about a month, then u can make it public after about 2-3 months, after he is over ur best friend. But really, even if u like her, u shouldn't do that to her ex. I'm not saying u shouldn't tell her that u like her, but let them cool down, wait a little while before going to the next step. u never know, though Maybe she just said that cause she was upset, or after she was heartbroken.
whatever u do, though, u have to wait a couple a weeks, i'm sure u can bare that

I would ask her first, just think, I waited 7 years for my best friend. And he is the love of my life, and have been together for 2 yrs in april. Only thing is, i hope you two are very compatable, and can talk bout everything. Cuz thats our downfall right now. So just ask her.

Hopefully he is just annoyed mainly because of shock and within a week or two he'll be back to normal.. or probably even more cocky than before. You could always start something up in private, just be careful.

sounds like he is abusive at least to himself---he is trying to get her emotions too probably-I would pray -it helped me
and then wait as long as the Lord directs you
my prayer-"Jesus help me, and come into my heart, forgive my sins, and be my friend, I am sorry for my sins, amen"
he said he would in Revelation 3:19&20 loves you and knocks to come into your heart, deliver from sin and be your friend."

Why would you do that to your best friend??? Think of it this way how would you feel if he where to do that to you??? would it hurt you??? Try to put yourself in his shoes before you do anything drastic...

just give him and her a little time before jumping into anything,no offense but she may be trying to use you to her advantage(idk,b/c idk her). wait til things calm down, maybe a month or so,and then if you feel the same way,go ahead and ask her out.
