I do not agree that it should be condemned and illegalized; in the days when it was, women sought "back door" abortions that typically left them hemorrhaging, infertile, or dead. Women should be able to make their own choice in the matter, no matter what everyone else besides them thinks of their choice. It's no one else's place to assume she's there because she's irresponsible. Now I personally think that if you consider yourself responsible enough to have sex, you should consider yourself responsible enough to face the consequences, female OR male. But that's a matter of learning right from wrong, and unfortunately, there's some people that can't be taught or refuse to learn.
These days, women who can't afford abortions or do not want to face a critical and judgemental tribunal outside their local abortion clinic give birth, then dump the baby in a dumpster and leave it to die. I find that being more tragic than an abortion itself.
46 out of the 50 states now have laws in effect where a new mother can take the baby to a hospital, fire station, or some other "safe house" within 72 hours of giving birth, no questions asked. This is a wonderful alternative.

No, because I am pro-choice and I think that abortion is completely a woman's right and they should have complete control over their body and do what they want. What if she was raped and got pregnant but wasn't ready to have a kid? What if having an abortion was the only way to survive because she couldn't have a baby with out overly high blood pressure?

I dont like the fact of abortion i dont have any kids but if i was to become pregnant i think i would have to take responsibilities to take care of my baby I mean I opened my legs to have it why all the sudden change things, also I think there are a lot of people who want kids and cant have any so they adopt. There is another option

why oh why do people come onto the pregnancy q&a's and ask about abortion?do you get off pissing people off? seriously!! get a life!!!
abortion is murder. the "fetus" has a heart beat at 5 weeks. most people wait until later in the first trimester to have one, therefore you are commiting murder!!! i believe it is a life the moment the sperm fertilized the egg.
the alternate option is to keep your leggs closed, your weiner in your pants, and dont have sex!!!!

I myself don't believe in abortion, because there is sooo many loving families out there who would love to adopt...but I also believe a female has the right to do so...it is her body, her mind, her guilt and regrets...and if she does have one...she needs some serious birth control after the fact!!!!

Abortion is murder... plain and simple. Murder is defined as terminating the life from an unwilling and innocent being.
The only safe alternative to abortion is adoption.

abortion is murder, life begins- it does not turn to life suddenly at 'some' stage. God said to someone in the bible ' I knew you before I knit you together in your mother's womb'.
