If you had been electricuted, you wouldn't be typing questions on your computer. You would be in a hospital in bad shape. You got an electrical shock from a stereo but not enough of a shock to cause any damage-just enough to let you know to be careful when working with anything electrical.

You were not Electrocuted, or else you would be dead.

There are three catagories of injuries from electricity:

1) Electric Shock, that's the pain you feel.

2)Electric Burns, that's when you have a black mark on your body. Often the electric burn is on the heel of your foot, which is the easiest way for the electrons to get to ground.
Check the soles your feet for black marks. If you have a burn on the sole of one of your feet, you got an electrical burn. You should see a Doctor if that's the case.
This can cause liver problems if your blood was heated and red bloods cells got killed.

3) Electrocution means you got killed by electricity.

you should be fine. I got electricuted once. I was standing in a puddle of water at my old job and I turned off the breaker bar. It was the coolest feeling ever. The weird part was I washed my hands and they started steaming.

leave the light switches alone!

I put my finger in a lightbulb socket and I was shocked. It hurt and I couldn't move for a second.

I am okay, though. Just hurt!

I'm not medically trained, but I think if you were able to write and send an e-mail, you're probably okay. I would suggest, however, that you work on your spelling.
