got tetanus shot 2 days ago and noticed a bump over my tricep muscle and red by the injection site the bump is proly like 2 inch in diameter, i am taking antibiotics for a puncture wound and painkillers

Sounds normal to me. The bump may mean that the needle was not inserted far enough into your muscle. This isn't a huge deal but means that you will be sore for a few days while the vaccine is absorbed. Just watch it to be sure that it doesn't continue to swell. Keep an eye out for signs of infection. ( which would be very unlikely since you are on antibiotics currently).

I had a tetanus shot and mine did the same thing. I wound up with a big bruise as well. It should go down in a couple more days.

I have not have been given any theory why the unjabbed arm ached, although that did ensue to me too. o.O
