are the current specials any good? and how much do you pay per month for TV for what package?

No Digital TV is needed. $34.99 for top 100 and locals. The specials usually give you free installation and pay for the equipment over a period of a year. I got mine a few years ago. The equipment was $99 at Costco and Dish gave me a $10 credit each month for a year. I actually came out ahead $20.

No you do not need a digital TV. If I were you I would go with cable. I have a Dish through Directtv and this month my bill was $85.00. What a rip off

the dish network is a rip-off!!!!! go with I O digital cable, trust me.
