I think it is a great idea. Students are counting the days until school is over so they can play video games. So if this is incorporated into their school routines it will encourage and interest them. Research proves people are in there homes with there electronics more than they are reading a book, so if you add the same information from a book into electronics nothing can go wrong. Teachers will still have a job, even if it is just supervising the students.

This is sort of tricky, because kids now days have really far surpassed the generations of past in knowledge of electronics and computers; My five year old daughter has
surprised me over and over on the computer as she picks up
on everything so fast it is almost freaky. So maybe children
will also pick up on the educational programming just as quickly. All in All though, I am still tough on learning and teaching the old school way, I even disagree with the curriculum the schools have been using since 1990's; they say it is higher education, I say ISN'T!! I have raised two older girls and I can assure you that what she didnt know
at the start of Highschool was taught at the fifth and sixth
grade levels when I was in school.
