Say, I don't understand why you are talking to me about this, I have nothing to do with his choices of clothes.

She doesnt have any right at all. it is her son and all but in this instance its just spite. Some people really need to pick their battles, honestly!! The way he dresses?! Shes just nitpicking and needs to mind her own before you both alienate her for being so snooty. If it gets to much out of hand your husband should confront her that it is his decision how he dresses and if she still presists then I would have to say it is your turn and dont be nice about it either.

No offence to your mother-in-law or anything but I think she should just get over it. I'm only 16, haven't yet e xperienced marriage & all that. I'm sure you're husband isn't a little boy and that he's quite capable of dressing himself.
Maybe you should just talk to your husband about it. Or maybe even better would be talk to your mother-in-law herself. Just explain that your husband isn't a baby? Helpful? I hope.

Thats because she used to buy his clothes for him, tell that old bag to let him go, he is now yours. Dress as you see fit. Mommy doesn't get to dress him for the rest of his life.

Your husband is a grown man. I think that mom and you should except his style. There is nothing you can do and a lot more things going on in the world and step mom 's world than driving your husband crazy.

tell her that her son is a big boy. IF she doesn't like how he dresses don't look at him. Parents can be sooo controlling!

It's your husband that needs to step up and quiet her down.
But no, she oughta' put a cork in it all by herself, her boy's all grown up now.
