Don't use moisturizing shampoos. You need a clarifying shampoo and a light conditioner. See the link below for specific products I recommend.

Well dont use alot of shampoo and conditioner. because if you use too much it just makes it worse. Simply Try about the size of two quarters of each shampoo and conditioner. Bring a pick or a brush in the shower with you and comb it out. or as soon as you get out of the shower then brush it. put a towel around it and then brush like 2 minutes later. then blow dry. ther brush again. maybe try to straighten it or curl it. it should help
p.s. Suave Shampoo works the best.

Don't wash your hair every day, that will remove the natural oils in your hair, some that are actually good for you. Instead, shampoo every other day with Head & Shoulders, and then condition every day. That will keep your hair healthy, clean, and soft!

my hair gets really oily too - i'm a swimmer, so i wash it every night. When ur going out, try spraying water on ur hair, and then combing it, and putting it in a half-up-half-down pony tail. It works.

do you use conditioner? if you do, use a quarter's worth if you have thick hair and a dime or penny's worth if you have thin hair, also, if you have thin hair, do not put it in near your roots.
