If you'd like to save them:

If they are complete rock solid, heat them at a low temp until the soften a bit. Go ahead and cut them in the pan and attempt to pull them out carefully. A small metal spatula will be good for this. You're probably going to end up with brownie pieces and crumbs. Just save them in the fridge. They are great over ice cream.

If you just want to throw them out:

Set the whole pan in the sink and pour hot water on top and let it sit. As the brownies loosen, dig them out and throw them away (it will be a gooey mess)

if they're just very dry, hard and stuck in the pan...

if the brownies are not **burned** and if you want to try to save them:

cover with plastic wrap
- wet a kitchen towel in warm water and place over the plastic wrap
- leave in a warm place for 30 min to an hour

IF that does soften them - then pour warm chocolate syrup over the brownies and remove gently with a spatula.

if it does not loosen them from the pan, you may have to soak them out and dispose.
