Because minors cannot vote why do they pay income tax or the payroll tax? If we did abolish the income tax for minors what would happen?

Minors pay income taxes only if they have income above a certain level.

You mention that they can't vote. Neither can legal residents of the US who are not citizens - are you arguing that they should be exempt from taxes also?

If the government grew to become into clever the would merely make the **** criminal and tax the hell out of it. We spend thousands and thousands each year attempting to crack down on it. So in the long-term the government would be getting funds. I additionally am completely for it in clinical utilization besides.
