They should have the same sentence as a murderer.Statistics prove they repeat the crime after being released on parole when will our children be safe?

I don't understand that myself. Why would anyone be eligible for parole after being convicted of such a crime is beyond me.

If you kill or rape someone,there must be something mentally wrong with you. These people don't belong in prisons. They belong in "hospitals" where they don't have a predetermined sentence and by law must be released. Putting them in "hospitals" is the only way to ensure that they will never be released and have no legal right for release so they can continue to re offend. Punishment for a crime that determines the accused is mentally unfit does nothing and only puts off future crimes that will indeed destroy more lives.If you kill or rape,there is obviously a mental disorder that no sentence can cure.

because, like most humans, sexual predators have families and friends and lives that dont need to be absolutely demolished by secluding them from their contacts...that would only drive them to do much more severe acts...murders end lives, sexual predators just influence them
