Hamburger and noodles are good standbys to a feast! Here is a recipe that I have used:

1 lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 T cumin
1 T chili powder
1 15 oz can tomatos and juice
1 15 oz can sweet corn
1 15 oz can kidney beans, drained
1 package egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese

Saute beef, onion, and garlic until cooked thru. Add tomatoes, corn, kidney beans and seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes, or until thickened. Add to cooked egg noodles and mix. Stir in cheddar cheese and serve. This is good with a green salad and corn bread. Note: if you have green or red bell pepper on hand, you can chop it and add to the beef, onion and garlic during the sauteing process.
