Q: Can you use WI-FI on an airline?

A: United does not offer internet on their flights. You used to be able to use one of those in-flight phones but no one used them so they stopped...

Wi-fi is not allowed on any airline. At this time I don't believe that any airlines of Internet connections. United used to have Verizon Airfones that you could check email on but Verizon stopped that service. It will probably be available in the next couple of years but at a hefty fee.

All airlines that had onboard WiFi have discontinued it. Boeing pulled the plug on their Connexion service.
When it was available, it was about $30-35 for access during a transpacific flight.
