Last two days, the skin near my chin became very itchy and rough. I scratched it and it turned really red. Now, it has turned into an extremely dry patch. My boyfriend experienced the same thing during his visit to agra india. He just ignored it and the thing healed itself in two weeks. What's actually happening to the skin? Is there any home remedies or tips?

sounds like eczema. Get some pramasone cream RX. After you get this buy some A.D. ointment and Zink oxide ointment. Put thin layer of pramasone cream on then put AD over top of that then put zink over top of that. Do it after a shower and when you go to bed at night. You may want to cover after applying. You don't want messy sheets. Good Luck.

The skin appears irritated. Apply cream for sensitive skin to the area and/or apply vaseline tot he affected area. If it continues contact your doctor.

Mary Kay makes this night emolient stuff that I use on my hands in winter(in PA ya need it!), and it make my hands really soft. I would not be too worried about putting it on your face because it is really gentle.

This is probably a condition called exima (I don't know how to spell it). Eucerin is tops for this, but talk to your doctor if it doesn't improve.
