Where would I find hummus in a regular grocery store?

I've read about how to make it, but since I've never tried it, I thought I would try it first. If I like it then I can try to make it homemade. (which I'm sure is better anyway) Would it be by the dip mixes? Or is it refrigerated?

It's usually refrigerated and located in the deli section or specialty foods sections. It's delicious! Some brands are better than others and it's really simple to make yourself. My favorite is the roasted garlic hummus.

It is usually found in the Deli section in the cooler cases with the specialty cheeses. The containers are normally round see through plasitc. Hummus also can come in different flavors.

Hummus comes in cans (non-refrigerated) as well as in a plastic tubs (refrigerated). I make my own and it tastes better than any other. If you have a choice, buy the hummus with roasted peppers.

In my little Safeway, it's in a "convenience" cooler right at the entrance of the store beside the deli. That cooler has juices, milk, deli soup, and for some reason the hummuses!

Trust me, you'll love it and want to make it yourself. Now the next hard part will be finding the darned tahini.
