there's no reason why it wouldn't grow back as you're not damaging the roots. it will probably be lovely when it grows back as it will be all lovely and new and won't have been damaged by the elements or washing x

If you are a boy, most likely. However, women's hair may not. I have a friend who had her head shaved for a surgical procedure and her once straight and silky hair came in frizzy and course. Not even a straightener for African American woman's hair would smooth it. This happens because of hormones that effect a women's hair growth and texture. I used to have straight hair, but about 6 years ago it became realy curly. I wouldnt advise shaving your head if you are attached to your current hair texture and style.

If it does or doesn't you can always wear a hairpiece or a hat. I say go for it especially if you are a guy. Bald seems to be in. If you are a girl, Hey Brittany did it! Why not?
