Most people who believe in God don't have the kind of body you would want to look at in a restaurant.

When Adam and Eve were naked in the garden they were clothed with the Glory of God from within. But at the fall the Glory began to depart which is why they saw themselves naked. All of God's Animal kingdom is clothed from within. Only man because of sin now need to cover his body. But of course that will change very soon when we will be clothed with Gowns of Salvation and Robes of Righteousness. Will you be ready?
I Cr 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!
I have treated you question lightly. There is of course a lot more to this. But the knowledge is there in the Bible, just for the asking)reading).

Just a question, have you ever read the book of Genesis? It says that after Eve and then Adam ate fruit from the tree of knowledge that they say that they were naked and were ashamed. God then told them to clothe themselves. Out of shame we began to dress. We continue out of modesty. I still find shame in my nakedness, because that is the cost of Eve's sin. I am not, however, ashamed to be naked in front of my husband. To answer your question, no, it was not God's intention for us to be ashamed of our bodies. However, I do think that the law would frown on people walking around naked and using God as an excuse. :)

well....God originally created us naked. But when adam and eve sinned.....God Himself clothed them with animal's skin. We became ashamed to show our naked bodies as a result of sin. Also, as a result of sin, people look at naked bodies with lust. So in our world today...it will actually not be right to go around naked because....since people around us lust over naked bodies....a naked body would become a stumbling block on those people. The Bible told us not to be a stumbling block...and that ALLOWING ourselves to be a stumbling block is a sin.
there is also a verse in the Bible that women should dress modestly. They should wear coverings. so it shows that we should cover our bodies...also, we should cover it modestly......so we would not be distractions or so that we should not attract attention towards us. I believe that if we walk around naked in this world....that we would sure attract a lot of attention.
Maybe in the new jerusalem....the one God will make after He destroys the sinful world.....maybe we will not need coverings anymore.
Also....it says in the Bible that a Christian is someone who accepts Christ as his/her substitute. Christians learn everyday and others have not learned some things yet. It is a lifetime journey and commitment. Different Christians may be at different parts of their journey....but their common ground is that they all accepted Christ and are willing to change everyday for Him and live only for Him.
hope that helps you! and God Bless! :D

Since the Old Testament has some specific passages condemning "showing ones nakedness", and the New Testament strongly suggests that women should "dress modestly" a few times, I would say that God would definitely approve of us wearing clothes. God is the one who created the original clothing, according to Genesis.
Nice try, but God does not seem to approve of public displays of nudity. You won't get too many girls to strip for you using that line.

In the beginning,in the garden of Eden,Adam and Eve were both naked, and innocent,(they did not have any knowledge of evil).
When Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge, and then had Adam to taste it,as well, that act led to their eyes opening to right and wrong.
Later that day,God spoke out,calling Adam's name.
Adam and Eve had suddenly realized they were naked, and therefore unworthy to be seen that way before God.
They covered themselves with leaves and stood to face God. God knew they were ashamed of what they'd done,& ultimately gave them animal furs to cover themselves with, along with additional terms to meet.
To answer your question, No, God would most certainly not approve of our walking around in the nude,(at least not publicly,Nor in His Holy presence).
The only thing about us that He wants to see stripped bare, is our hearts and our prideful spirits.
As for animals being naked, look a little closer and you will see animals have fur, birds have feathers, reptiles have scales, and so on.
Fortunately,God can cure even the most physically and spiritually blinded among us,there's even a prayer out for you,...I know this... I offerred it up moments ago.,may God bless YOU!!!

i'm not christian but i wanna say that clothing is a basic necessity
if a person in egypt is a true christian is truly devoted, i doubt that in the beating sun, being naked is a good thing
what of the christians in alaska? i bet it's hard enough going to church in the snow but to be naked? i think that the christian population in alaska would die of just being cold if christians believed the nudity is a good way to prove their christianity

We wear clothes because we are sinners and are ashamed to be seen naked.
When sin came into the world due to the temptation in the garden, Adam and Eve then realised they were maked and were ashamed to be like that, so attempted to cover up.
So as long as you are a sinner, and there is sin in the world, there will be clothing as we are ashamed and embarrased to be seen in the nude.
And as no one is perfect, there will be sin on earth, but we can all be saved through the mercy and grace of Jesus and the forgiveness He pours out onto us.

You're just asking for a billion citations of the Adam and Eve legend, in which, being made sexually aware by virtue of eating the forbidden fruit, they covered their newfound shame with fig leaves. Of course, that only makes clothing a symbol of our fallen natures. But since the Christian loves to wallow in his inferiority complex, I suppose he's only grateful to be reminded of his degeneracy every time he dresses.

Would the cotton plant be found on our Earth if he didn't approve? Would Eli Whitney have invented the cotton gin? Would we have found other useful plants? Yes, that is how God intended.
1)Clothes prevent dirt on God's beautiful creations.
2)Clothes help keep God's beautiful creations warm.
Everyone would be the same if there weren't clothes. We are equal, but unique. Besides, make-up without clothes is like salt wothout pepper.
