The gift of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The church has the Holy Spirit. God wouldn't give his Spirit (fulfilling Joel 2:28+ according to Peter) in response to a lie.
There are prophecies in the Old Testament, but unfortunately the Jewish Establishment was hard set against Jesus, so have propagated that rebel position against God. Note that a feature of Jewish history in the Old Testament is disobedience of most of the Jewish people - rejecting Moses often, rejecting prophets, judges, God having to cast off the northern tribes as they were so wayward, having to send the people into Babylonian captivity as they were rejecting Jehovah. Rejecting their messiah is very much in pattern with this actually, but they will accept him at the 2nd coming. The world in general has not accepted Christ also.
Of course there also evidence such as the commitment of the apostles - all but one were martyred (i.e. being killed for their beliefs [unlike the killing which went on to spread Mohammedanism])
Read what Paul put up with during his mission in 2 Corinthians 11:22-29.
You don't do that for a lie. Even if it were a lie, you wouldn't get all of them to suffer martyrdom, and John according to tradition lowered into a pot of boiling water.

It really matter very little except for a discussion in which the answer is based on Pure Belief.
No one, not a single King, no government, not even any of the biblical prophets, not even Mohammed, and I say again NO ONE has made a bigger impact on the world than Jesus Christ. Look around you, those ideals of care for sick, needy, helpless, forgivement, the institutions, the laws, the govenements of the most powerful, the most wealthy, those all had their roots in Jesus Christ.
So False Prophet or not, makes little difference except on academic basis.

Jesus is Lord because He said so. He was either Lord, liar, or lunatic. He was not a liar or else He would have denounced being the Son of God before He was crucified. He was not a lunatic because He would have shown other signs of being a lunatic. So He must be the Lord. Help any?

A false prophet could not have fulfilled all the scripture concerning MESSIAH. Only JESUS has fulfilled all the scriptures (except one which will be fulfilled when he returns). Only the blood of JESUS can save. HIS blood is the price of our redemption. What makes me so sure is GOD does not lie and HE promised to forgive my sin if I believe and repent and confess JESUS as LORD. So when the devil reminds me of my past I remind him of his future and he soon finds someone else to attack.

Its consistent with faith, and from the scientific view it must be the type you spot it, yet from a christian view that's basically faith, and as you benefit a relationship with God by Jesus you start to have extra faith. seem at your existence, i recommend dont you think of particular judgements you made have been incorrect, yet you in all likelihood didnt finally end up in various hardship that individuals have been given in, that have been in those comparable situations. all of us sin and Jesus died for those sins , so we've a raffle to repent.. heavily.

Because there is no evidence of a god for him to be the son of. Not to mention all the times he contradicts himself. Far from being omniscient jesus didn't have a clue what he was doing. Say no to jesus

Jesus is the only being to come back from the dead & not go on to die a natural death. Like Lazarus & the daughter of Jairus. They came back from the dead but they went on to die again. Jesus did not he ascended into heaven body & all.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He was way more than a prophet.
The Bible is the Word of God and thats how I know the Bible is true.

I agree with you. I believe Jesus was a great teacher but not the son of God. He was a good man that was married and had children and taught the world many valuable lessons but he wasn't the son of a God or Goddess.

By the very works He did. He didn't work any miracle that He could profit from. His miracles and preaching was only for the glory of His Father in heaven.
Now lets hear of the good works of the other prophet Mohammad.
Jesus performed miracles on all classes of people, not just people he liked but all races and genders.
John 10:25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30I and my Father are one.
