Have you ever gotten a pedicure? Well, they use something called a pumice stone to get the calluses off of the bottom of your feet. Pumice stone's also work really well for calluses on the hands. You can get one at any store in the bath and beauty aisle. Usually near the loofah's or in the nail care aisle. When using it just make sure you soak your hand in water and gently rub the calluses away! Follow with a good moisturizing lotion and VOILA!! Hope this helps. ~Peace and Love~

1.Soak your hands in a container of plain warm water for fifteen minutes. This step alone helps to rehydrate dry hands. Then, dab- don't rub- your hands with a soft towel. Don't dry your hands thoroughly, just dab them so they're not drippy wet anymore.
2.Next, apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly all over your hands. Make sure you cover every inch of skin from your fingertips to your wrists. And, make sure the jelly gets applied to the sides of your fingers- a place that's often overlooked.
3.Finally, gently place a pair of soft, clean gloves onto your hands. Or, use a pair of wool socks if you don't have gloves. When you wake up in the morning, your hands will still feel a bit greasy. To remedy this, gently wipe off the excess petroleum jelly with a clean, soft cloth or a tissue. You'll find your hands will be moisturized and smoother to the touch.
4.Instead of using petroleum jelly, after you've moisturized your hands with plain warm water, you can use a needle to prick several Vitamin E capsules. Gently rub the vitamin directly onto your rough, dry hands

go to bath and body works and look at the true blue spa line. they have plenty of stuff just for hands. they come in pink and blue containers and tubes. if you get the just a minute manicure scrub and the look ma new hands lotion your hands should start to feel softer after the first time you use them. the scrub is about $12 and the lotion is also $12. you don't need to use a lot at once (especially the lotion) so it should last you a while. good luck!

It's hard to have hands that are extremely soft because of what you participate in. I would say use brands like Gold Bond for extremely dry hands. Also exfoliate your hands weekly with a scrub (sugar, salt or whatnot). Massaging hands also help as well as soaking them in warm, tepid water before hand.

Hi...
Get an exfoliating wash (St. Ives works great) and use it on your hands. try a body lotion that has shea butter in it, and it gives your hands more moisture.
If you don't already, try wearing gloves while you bat.
--and don't soak your hands in bleach! talk about damaged skin...--

Aquaphor Healing Ointment Tube works great. It may seem a little pricey for the amount your getting; but it works great. You can find it at a right aid store for less. Go to the link I put so you can see what it looks like. Trust me it works.

I heard if you soak your hands in bleach that it melts away the rough part leaving soft baby hands.
